Surgical Treatment Options

The Ohio State University Medical Center offers a number of surgical options for the treatment of gastroesphageal reflux disease (GERD).  Our surgical specialist are board certified and fellowship trained, offering the most technilogically advanced procedures to patients.  We were the first center in the United States to perform Endoluminal Tissue Fusion (Incisionless Fundoplication) using the EsophyX device.  Additionally we offer Laparoscopic Nissen Fundoplication to treat even the most difficult cases of GERD.
